Action for wrongful death in the district court for Isanti county by the special administratrix of the estate of Maxim Zurko who was fatally injured when struck by an automobile owned and operated by defendant Roger G. Gilquist after alighting from a bus owned and operated by defendant Northland Greyhound Lines, Inc., in which action plaintiffs claim for funeral expenses was incorporated. The case was tried before Leonard Keyes, Judge, and a jury. At the close of plaintiffs evidence, the court granted the motion of defendant Northland Greyhound Lines, Inc., for a directed verdict. The jury returned a verdict for defendant Gilquist, and plaintiff appealed from an order denying her motion for a new trial against Gilquist only.
